Hellooo!

I thought I would kick off my first blog post with a little real-talk about me and what I do.

I started my design journey at Texas Tech University where I earned a degree in Interior Design with a minor in Architecture. After my degree, I took certification exams to become a registered Interior Designer. This just means that I can design the interior architecture of a space with the safety and wellbeing of the occupants in mind and that I understand all the relevant codes, concerns, and limitations necessary to alter your space. I also earned my LEED AP certification, which means that I can design in a way that is environmentally conscious.

My journey officially began in Austin, where I embarked on a career in commercial design with a cherished architecture and design firm. However, life had other plans for my family, given my husband's military service. This led us to embark on a series of moves, allowing me to design across the globe, from Kuwait City to Dallas, TX. I've delved into various markets and projects, amassing diverse experience.

In 2020, when we relocated to Boulder, CO, I embraced the opportunity to work remotely with a residential remodeling company. This choice resonated with the world's changing dynamics and the arrival of a new addition to our family. The fast-paced world of residential design allowed me to witness plans come to life more rapidly, connect with clients personally, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Remote work enhanced my project management and design skills, equipping me with valuable tools to streamline the client experience and simplify design documents for their chosen contractors. I'm proud to offer a transparent, client-focused process that eases the design journey.

While my family and I recently relocated to West Point, NY, my design work still spans Texas and Colorado. I'm excited about exploring new markets and potential growth once we establish roots in a permanent location.

I invite you to explore my extensive portfolio of designs on this platform and Instagram. Thank you for your ongoing support, and I'm thrilled you've joined me on this journey. Here's to more exciting design adventures to come!
